A considerable slug of Apricot Brandy adds a fruity depth to this Margarita variation without breaking the balance of the other ingredients. Created by Dick Bradsell at Lonsdale House, London, UK.
2 shots of Tequila
0.75 shots of Apricot Brandy
1 shot of Cranberry Juice
0.75 shots of Lime Juice
Add all the ingredients to the mixing tin, add lots of ice, shake thoroughly and strain into the glass over lots of ice.
Serve in a Coupette glass.
Bubbles cover the surface of the apricot flavoured Flirt cocktail.
Fill a Coupette glass with ice and water to chill it while mixing the cocktail.
Measure 0.75 shots of Apricot Brandy and add to the mixing tin.
Measure 1 shot of Cranberry Juice and add to the mixing tin.
Measure 0.75 shots of Lime Juice and add to the mixing tin.
Add lots of ice to the mixing tin.
Shake the drink well until condensation forms on the outside of the mixing tin.
Discard the ice and water in the glass.
Strain the contents of the mixing tin into the glass.
Taste the cocktail and if necessary adjust the balance with a touch of extra sugar or citrus juice.
