Saturn

Saturn

The Saturn was created by Californian Tiki genius Popo Galsini. This fruity concoction won the 1967 IBA Cocktail Championships but seems to have remained relatively unknown. On paper, the recipe looks like a somewhat mindless mix of syrups. It doesn't feature the typical Rum base found in many Tiki drinks. And worst of all, the only alcohol present is a rather measily slug of Gin. All of these points may seem problematic until you actually taste the drink, and discover a perfect combination of exotic Tiki flavours.
