This is a modern adaptation of Charles H Baker's Rosy Dawn Cocktail, contrasting the sweetness of the liqueurs with the sharpness of fresh Lime rather than syrupy Lime Cordial. Lots of cherry flavours and lots of depth from a surprisingly well balanced fruit Martini.
0.75 shots of Gin
0.75 shots of Cherry Brandy
0.75 shots of Triple Sec
0.75 shots of Lime Juice
Add all the ingredients to the mixing tin, add lots of ice, shake thoroughly and strain.
Serve in a Martini glass and garnish with a cherry.
The cherry garnish shows through the condensation covered glass of the Rosy Dawn Cocktail.
