Navy Grog is a deeply rich Tiki drink thats all about the Rum. The other ingredients are really just there to compliment the sizeable slug of this fabulous caribbean spirit. So if at all possible, follow Jeff Berry's recommendation of: 1 shot of white Puerto Rican rum, 1 shot of dark Jamaican rum and 1 shot of Demerara rum.
2 shots of Dark Rum
1 shot of Light Rum
0.75 shots of Lime Juice
0.75 shots of Grapefruit Juice
0.5 Runny Honey
Top up with Soda Water
Add the Rum and Honey to the mixing tin, stir until the Honey dissolves, add the other ingredients and lots of ice, shake well, strain over ice and top up with a hint of soda.
Serve in a Collins glass and garnish with a lime wheel and a cherry.

Add 0.5 Runny Honey and stir until it's dissolved.
Measure 0.75 shots of Lime Juice and add to the mixing tin.
Measure 0.75 shots of Grapefruit Juice and add to the mixing tin.
Add lots of ice to the mixing tin.
Shake the drink well until condensation forms on the outside of the mixing tin.
Fill a Collins glass with ice.
Fine strain the contents of the mixing tin into the glass.
Top up the glass with Soda Water.
Gently stir.
Taste the cocktail and if necessary adjust the balance with a touch of extra sugar or citrus juice.
Garnish the cocktail with a lime wheel and a cherry.
