Easy drinking Rum punch with lots of depth. Use lots of ice, but go easy on the Lemonade for a rich cocktail that's full of flavour.
1.25 shots of Light Rum
0.5 shots of Triple Sec
0.25 shots of Dark Rum
0.5 shots of Lime Juice
0.25 shots of Almond Sugar Syrup
8 Mint Leaves
3 dashes of Old Fashioned Bitters
Top up with Lemonade
Add the Mint to the mixing tin and gently muddle with the Rum, add the next five ingredients and lots of ice, shake well, fine strain over lots of ice and top up with Lemonade.
Serve in a Sling glass and garnish with a mint sprig.
A sprig of mint is the garnish on top of the Marama cocktail.
Add 8 Mint Leaves to the mixing tin.
Gently muddle the contents of the mixing tin
Measure 0.5 shots of Triple Sec and add to the mixing tin.
Measure 0.5 shots of Lime Juice and add to the mixing tin.
Measure 0.25 shots of Almond Sugar Syrup and add to the mixing tin.
Add 3 dashes of Old Fashioned Bitters to the mixing tin.
Add lots of ice to the mixing tin.
Shake the drink well until condensation forms on the outside of the mixing tin.
Fill a Sling glass with ice.
Fine strain the contents of the mixing tin into the glass.
Gently stir.
Taste the cocktail and if necessary adjust the balance with a touch of extra sugar or citrus juice.
Garnish the cocktail with a mint sprig.
