A clash of South American spirit and fruit from the northern hemisphere creates a delicious and well balanced Caipirinha. Quite possibly the best alternative to the classic Caipirinha.
2 shots of Cachaca
0.75 shots of Sugar Syrup
2 quarters of Lime
4 Blackberries
4 Raspberries
Build in the glass, muddle the quartered Lime with the Blackberries, Raspberries and Sugar Syrup, add the Cachaca and lots of crushed ice and churn well.
Serve in a Rocks glass.
Light shines off the crushed ice of a Berry Caipirinha.
Add 2 quarters of Lime to the glass.
Add 4 Blackberries to the glass.
Add 4 Raspberries to the glass.
Gently muddle the contents of the glass
Measure 0.75 shots of Sugar Syrup and add to the glass.
Fill up the glass with lots of crushed ice.
Churn the contents of the glass.
Taste the cocktail and if necessary adjust the balance with a touch of extra sugar or citrus juice.
